Tell us about your journey as a coach.
It was 2007, and I was exhausted from dealing with life’s challenges back-to-back! I did not have the skillset, the mindset, or the wisdom to know how to navigate those difficult times. One day it occurred to me that if I kept going the way I was I would not stay alive for very long! And that is when I started down my spiritual path.
In 2008, I picked up my first self-help book: A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose by Eckhart Tolle, and I still remember reading the first page of the book as if the book were written in a foreign language! After that, I continued to search for answers, but it was not until 2013, when I started reading Dying to Be Me by Anita Moorjani, that I understood the missing link in my spiritual journey! Anita’s book taught me exactly what was missing in my own life: Self-Love!
And that is when I began my Self-Love journey and started to come home to myself. In 2016, I created a blog where I would look at beliefs in our societies and would do a deep dive into the fear behind these beliefs. I also started offering group coaching, presented on topics like how to love yourself and how to let go of your fears, and taught meditation. I initially offered most of these programs through my own community and events.
In 2021, I started the Loving Our Fears podcast. In 2022, I got my life coaching certifications and also launched my website. Since 2016, I have grown and evolved and so has my business, which is not just a life coaching business but focuses on Self-Love coaching.
What courses, programs, or certifications have you done?
I have completed Levels 1 & 2 of Life Coaching Certifications from Certified Life Coach Institute. I would recommend both levels to an aspiring life coach.

What advice or perspective might you give to a new coach trying to get her first clients? Any advice they should ignore?
I do not believe in hyper-action and striving and struggling to make your coaching practice a success because it takes away from your creativity. Trust in what you have to offer this world, and it will unfold exactly as it should. It will all come together, just breathe and give it some time!
What are your thoughts on “choosing a niche” as a coach?
Choosing a niche is one of the best things you can do, not only to differentiate yourself from other life coaches, but also to allow you to unleash all of yourself through it. The reason I chose Self-Love as my niche is because that’s the lesson I learned in my own life, and so I am walking the path to extend that into this world. Choose the niche that resonates with you the most and you will never have to try hard to win over clients!
What are some of your current favorite affirmations, mantras, or practices? Why?
I set aside some time each evening every single day to either meditate, talk to myself, journal, or just sit and let myself feel everything I had been feeling that day, and from the day or days before. I also love the I AM affirmations like I am enough, I am beautiful, I am worthy. These affirmations bring me back not only to the present moment; they bring me back to myself.
When you feel overwhelmed, stressed, or have lost your focus or motivation, what do you do?
I breathe in through the nose, hold for a few seconds in my chest, and breathe out through the mouth. And while I breathe, I also focus on the sound of my breath because I am someone who learns through sound. I also hug myself and talk to myself like I would talk to a child to motivate myself.
Do you have any examples of how a “failure” set you up for later success?
My entire life has been a series of failures which later turned into successes. The one thing I learned is that a failure is the Universe’s way of redirecting you to walk the path you are meant to walk in this lifetime. So, instead of viewing failures from a perspective of fear, try to find the hidden opportunities in them.
If you could put a message on a huge billboard — getting a message out to millions — what would it say and why?
No amount of love from the outside world will ever be enough until you can learn to fall in love with yourself!
