About the Institute of Transformational Nutrition

The Institute of Transformational Nutrition (ITN) was founded in 2010 by Cynthia Pasquella-Garcia, a renowned celebrity nutritionist, author, and transformation expert. The popularity of this coaching school stems from its groundbreaking approach that combines science-based nutrition with a focus on mind-body-spirit integration. They consistently update their nutrition and health coaching programs to include cutting-edge insights and practices.

The Institute of Transformational Nutrition Coaching Philosophy

The Institute of Transformational Nutrition embraces a holistic coaching philosophy that extends beyond traditional nutritional approaches. They believe that true transformation occurs when individuals address not only their physical health but also their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By recognizing the interconnectedness of these elements, the Institute of Transformational Nutrition trains coaches to provide a transformative experience that resonates with individuals seeking a holistic approach to wellness and personal growth.

The Institute of Transformational Nutrition Accreditation

The Institute of Transformational Nutrition holds various accreditations as proof of its commitment to providing high-quality education. It is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard when it comes to coaching professionalism and ethics.

The institute is also accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), and approved by the National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBHW), the UK Health Coaches Association (UKIHCA), the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT), the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), and the Canadian Association for Integrative Nutrition (CAIN).

Since ITN has met the strict guidelines of the Health Coach Alliance (HCA), you have the opportunity to receive both the Entry Level Registered Health Coach (RHC) and the Advanced Standing Registered Health Coach and Nutrition Counsellor (RHNC) designation.

Note: When it comes to life coaching programs with ICF accreditation, our top selection is the comprehensive Coach Training Alliance, which we have reviewed in detail.

Pros and Cons of the Institute of Transformational Nutrition Certification

We’ll now evaluate everything from ITN’s pricing and course length to graduates’ testimonials. Let’s begin with the main advantages of this reputable coaching institute.

Unique Holistic Approach to Health and Nutrition

ITN applies its unique model, Transformational Nutrition®, which blends physical, mental, and spiritual nutrition for holistic coaching. This system encompasses science, psychology, and spirituality to provide a complete transformation. Besides physical health, they address relationships, mental health, cultural aspects, overcoming past trauma, and many other factors that influence overall well-being.

Core Certification and Specialist Certifications

The Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach (CTNC) is ITN’s signature program that will introduce you to all of the core concepts. This robust program covers the essentials of becoming a holistic nutrition coach.

However, ITN aims to help their students become coaching specialists, so upon completing the CTNC course, you can enroll in a specialist course. This part of your learning journey is called Passion-Based Learning, as it allows you to follow your passion and gain expertise in the health niche that interests you the most.

The available specialist certifications are:

  • Autoimmune Coach
  • Diabetes Coach
  • Digestive Health Coach
  • Cancer Coach
  • Hormone Coach
  • Holistic Health Coach
  • Weight Loss Coach
  • Mental Wellness Coach

Business Training

To ensure that you have the knowledge and tools for establishing a thriving business, ITN provides you with a step-by-step Business Building Blueprint course. The course reveals the business-building methods of Cynthia Pasquella-Garcia, who managed to establish and maintain a successful coaching empire. Business Building Blueprint offers exclusive insights into building a successful coaching practice from scratch, including crucial aspects such as business setup, branding, and website development.

Continual Support

One of the most amazing aspects of ITN is the support you receive as a student and graduate. From day one, you’ll work with your own personal coach, who will provide you with guidance and help you build your coaching confidence. Each week, you’ll engage in live Coaching Labs and Business Building Labs so you can ask questions and connect with peers. The private Facebook community enables you to network with fellow students and support each other along the way.

Even after you graduate, you’ll keep receiving support. The alumni-only Student Learning Portal will provide new content and training so you can stay up to date with the latest updates in the coaching industry. You’ll also gain access to the coaching community and monthly coaching calls that are only for ITN alumni. The calls are designed to help you discuss any roadblocks, master new skills, or overcome personal challenges.

How Long is the Institute of Transformational Nutrition Program?

The Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach (CTNC) program, along with the specialist course, lasts 9 months. However, you will have a 12-month timeframe in case you need to take a break or you need more time to process the knowledge.

The course is self-paced, so it caters to your schedule. There are no fixed tests or rigid calendars that you must adhere to in advance, so you have the freedom to design your schedule and accommodate your individual circumstances and commitments.

How Much Does the Institute of Transformational Nutrition Coaching Training Cost?

The tuition can be paid in full or in payment plans, and the total cost depends on the plan you opt for. If you decide to make a one-time payment, the cost is $9,997.

The other possibility is to make an initial payment of $997, followed by 12 subsequent payments of $875, which will be billed every 30 days. This flexible payment plan allows you to spread out the program’s cost over time, but the total cost amounts to $11,497.

ITN guarantees that if you haven’t recouped your tuition investment within 12 months of graduating from the program and have followed the prescribed income-generating steps, they will provide you with 6 months of complimentary coaching with one of their expert business coaches.

Note: For a more budget-friendly coach training program, we recommend the Transformation Academy and its Health and Nutrition Coach Certification and Master Wellness Coach bundle. If you use our links, you will even get an 50% discount. Learn all about TA and its values in our in-depth review.

The Institute of Transformational Nutrition Reviews

Reviews are a treasure trove of insights that can provide valuable information about the program’s strengths, benefits, and overall experience. So, let’s explore what ITN’s students and graduates have to share.

Reviews From Graduates

The website reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and they reveal a lot about the program’s advantages:

Between the step-by-step coaching system and the practical, actionable ways to build your business, ITN is the Harvard of health coaching schools.

Shawn Stevenson, CTNC

I wanted more because the certification programs I had taken before didn’t give me the full picture. I knew there was more to it than ‘eat this, not that’. When I found ITN, the business building component and the spirituality component were game changers. There wasn’t any other holistic program out there that I would be proud to say I went through. I wanted people to take me seriously and ITN gave me that.

Jelisa Smith, CTNC

At Indeed.com, ITN has only a couple of reviews, but they have all praised the program’s comprehensiveness, flexibility, and engagement.

Great all-around education on starting your own coaching business and methodology around effective coaching. In-depth preparation around science, psychology, and the spiritual aspects of holistic health.

We have come across dozens of reviews on Trust Pilot, and here’s a small sample:

I have loved my experience at ITN. I’ve had an excellent opportunity to learn so much at such a great depth, and the ITN community is wonderful. I love that Cynthia is so lovely and warm and available to us monthly for live Facebook sessions. I also feel like I have a leg up in this growing industry with two extra certifications that ITN offers. Signing up for this program was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Cate Beauman

I loved this school! The curriculum was amazing! I was totally in love with how much community and student support you get, and contact from the school was so prompt; they have the best support team! I’ve recommended this school to anyone looking to get into Health Coaching, and I can’t wait to dive even deeper into this program and take advantage of all the extras they offer. Thanks ITN!
