Coaching Focus: I coach eager souls to turn their struggle in to confidence whilst creating cosmic inner strength by replacing anxiety and self sabotage with my powerful emotional and mindset therapies.
Business name: Gen-Z Coaching
Location: Glastonbury, UK
What are some courses, programs, or certifications you’ve taken part in? Would you recommend them, and for whom?
NLP , CBT, Confidence Life Coaching, Yoga Teacher Training.
I think NLP is a great and accessible mindset therapy that everyone should learn about – it can take a person from anxiety to calm, from procrastination to clarity, from heartbreak to empowerment.
It’s really an amazing modality which has increased my own value as a coach.
What are some of your favorite thoughts and mantras?
‘If one person can do it then you can do it.’
‘You are exactly where you are meant to be to learn what you need to learn.’
‘Say what you mean, mean what you say.’
‘Everything happens for a reason.’
‘MOVE… TAKE ACTION… You are not a tree.’
What are your thoughts on “choosing a niche” as a coach?
I really struggled with this because I know I am here to impact the world at large and I do attract all races of all ages from all walks of life. And I believe that those who are meant to evolve and be guided by me will be propelled into my vortex.
I think from a business perspective, choosing a niche can excel your business because you’re speaking to a specific person. So I’m all for it. It’s just for my own business, I choose ‘eager souls’ as my niche which is more of an energy.
I serve individuals ready to transform and step out of victimhood and into empowerment and truth, and so far I have attracted just that 🙂 – those who aren’t ready to change don’t really get past the sales call process.
Do you have any embarrassing stories from your work as a coach? Or a time when putting yourself out there really paid off?
Well, I transitioned from performing arts into launching my own life coaching business just 5 months ago. So no embarrassing stories as of yet 😉
But I have taken a few leaps into the unknown where my confidence has served me very well.
I created a group coaching group on Meetup, and had 65 people join. Which I then thought, “Well, I better hold an event then.”
I had never actually coached anyone under my business at that point and had never done group coaching before. But I showed up and got 2 lovely testimonials from it.
What advice would you give to a new life coach just starting out?
- Get a business coach.
- Enroll in a business programme.
- Learn from those individuals who are already living your goal.
- Be patient with the process.
- Always invest in yourself.
- Come from a place of service.
- Inspiration over information.
Tell us about your coaching journey
I’ve been singing and dancing on stages my whole life. Pushing for publishing as a songwriter – I have written over 150 songs. I’ve sung on stages all over the world.
But there was something wrong with this life – when I was on stage it felt like home – outside of the stage experience I was around narcissism and individuals who struggle with self-validation, self-acceptance and self-confidence.
I would be bullied in every job for studying and knowing who I am, and moving through self-assurance.
I also allowed the industry make anxiety, overwhelm, not feeling good enough seem like a normal occurrence and just part of life.
I naturally coached people through my time in this industry. My passion for personal development, my connection to spirit and my knowings that were just knowings served me well in the realm of helping others move through their own confusion and challenges in life.
One of my biggest assets in this were my keloid scars.
I managed to have a successful career (though not as successful as I wanted ever) in the most superficial industry known to man – with keloid scarring on my chest and shoulders.
My keloids basically manifested after going on an acne drug at age 16.
It pushed me to awaken – through adversity and a lot of dark times it became my weapon. My personal ascension weapon.
I also had an NDE in India whilst studying for my yoga teacher training.
This shifted me even more on to my awakened path.
I started to study mindset therapies and got fascinated with how our wiring is the number one reason behind why we feel and act from a certain place.
My influences are my real life mentors but also I listened to a lot of Oprah, Jay Shetty, Mooji and currently I am obsessed with Abraham Hicks.
So how did I become a coach properly? Instead of just helping friends and family through their problems.
Well – coronavirus was the key.
If coronavirus didn’t make me jobless I would have been stuck in that vicious cycle of hustling in the performing arts industry – feeling stuck in familiarity and chained to the limiting beliefs I had of my own.
A light switch went off when lockdown happened.
I invested all of my savings into launching an online business, website, coaching platforms, email systems and so on – and already having certifications in CBT, NLP and Confidence Coaching – now was the time to learn how to run a business.
So I hired a business coach. I signed up for marketing courses. Copy courses. I created a course which flopped but that needed to happen 😀
I went on to create services I was proud of and am in the process of developing and launching a service based industries coaching programme and a mini course also for ‘Finding your purpose and building a business’
So I am here now.
Attraction-marketing to special 1-to-1 clients, whilst creating services that are going to build my empire as a coach and a voice of the new age.
Empowering people to undo all that they have known and step in to their greatness and highest paths.
I feel so incredibly blessed and am looking forward to writing and publishing a book also 😉
